From 8 a.m. – 9:30 a.m., join us for the delicious meal that makes a B&B what it is. You can expect to delight in various combinations of fresh fruit, eggs, waffles, French toast, bacon, sausage, and so much more.
Breakfast at the Iris Inn reflects the seasons in Virginia. On a balmy spring morning, indulge in juicy strawberries, waffles with freshly-made whipped cream, and sizzling bacon right out of the pan. In the summertime, feast on fresh oranges, a cheesy omelet, and French toast baked with apples and cream cheese. Autumn brings delectable treats such as our highly-requested pumpkin pancakes, buttery scrambled eggs, and warm banana-nut muffins. Finally, during the cold of winter, enjoy a hot hash brown casserole, bananas and yogurt, and our own deliciously modified version of Eggs Benedict. Chef Caitie is always ready to accommodate special dietary requests with 24 hours’ notice.
Once you’ve woken after a restful night’s sleep, make your way to the sunlit Great Room. Help yourself to a cup of rich, bold coffee, a warm mug of hot chocolate, or-if you’d like-choose from our wide array of teas. Relax in one of the soft chairs next to the fireplace. When breakfast is ready, you’ll be seated at your own table, and your breakfast will be served right to you. We make every effort to ensure that your breakfast is relaxing and fulfilling.
