Virginia is the best state in the U.S.

Okay, so you may not actually agree with that (after all, it’s a “commonwealth,” if you wanna get technical), but Virginia is certainly full of fascinating things from its rich history to its beautiful mountains to its beaches and its amusement parks. You can’t argue that it’s a wonderful place to visit, if not to live, and we here at our lovely Shenandoah Valley bed and breakfast are situated in a particularly pleasant position.

One of the best aspects of this area of Virginia is its flora and fauna, and we are making it possible for you to go on a mini-exploration. We are offering nature tours led by the brilliant Steve Gibson, a certified master naturalist with a vast array of knowledge about the outside world. If you’re a nature enthusiast, you enjoy hiking, or you simply want to brush up on that long-forgotten earth science, then this is this the perfect outing for you.

Nature is man’s teacher.  She unfolds her treasures to his search, unseals his eye, illumes his mind, and purifies his heart; an influence breathes from all the sights and sounds of her existence.”  – Alfred Billings Street
